Grasselli is proud to announce that we are re-opening the library to campus. Starting Monday, August 10, the library will be open from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday using your Carroll Card to access the building. You will need to tap your JCU ID on the post located just outside the front doors to gain entry. As you all must know by now, we will also expect proper mask wearing and will have a station set up in the lobby to sanitize any spaces you touch.
We have been prepping the library for your return and you will notice that furniture is moved in order to encourage appropriate distancing. Group study rooms are not available and many previously shared spaces have reduced capacity. If you have questions during your visit, please feel free to ask at the Library Help Desk. Again, we are asking you to sanitize spaces and clean up after yourself when using the library including if you sit at any tables.
OhioLINK and physical ILL borrowing will also resume, however, we remind you that it will most likely take more than a week (most likely at least 2) to receive items you request due to quarantining during transit. If you would like to check out books using contactless pick up, please email circulation@jcu.edu to arrange a time. Any other questions about the reopening? Email library@jcu.edu.
