Today: Hyflex‌ ‌Classroom Training

Information Technology Services (ITS) has upgraded 59 rooms on campus to support the Hyflex teaching model. The upgraded rooms have integrated Zoom Rooms and allow you to run your class both onsite and remotely.

If you are interested to come in and “play” in the room please see the process outlined below.
* We have created a Google Calendar to allow you to reserve a time in this space. This is to accommodate proper physical distancing and ensure everyone’s safety. Please visit our website to view the calendar: https://jcu.edu/its/services/resources/hyflex-classroom-technology-setup
* You will be expected to follow all JCU campus safety protocols while using this room, including wearing a mask and maintaining 6 ft physical distancing.
* That being said the occupancy for this room is 15, so please feel free to bring a friend and test together.
* Additional recommendation – invite some colleagues to join you remotely so you are able to see what your remote students will look like and how that interaction will feel.
