We wish you a Happy Season of Creation (Sept. 1 – Oct. 4). Together with Pope Francis and the entire Church, let us celebrate God’s creation with a Global Ignatian Prayer Vigil on Friday 25th September.

The Congo Basin, the Amazon and the Asian forests are the lungs of our world. Today they struggle to breathe. They are literally and figuratively on fire. With the call of Pope Francis to care for our Common Home, under the aegis of the Season of Creation, together with the Dicastery for Integral Human Development, Global Catholic Climate Movement, JPIC and many other Church groups and Jesuit networks, the Social Justice and Ecology Secretariat, is organizing a Global Ignatian (Jesuit) Prayer Vigil to pray for ecological conversion and action for justice. The vigil will feature testimonies, reflections of the people and communities directly affected combined with symbolic and interactive moments.
