We are excited to announce John Carroll’s partnership with Presence, a software platform that manages, tracks and promotes community engagement across all areas of the university. JCU’s Presence platform is called Carroll Connect at https://jcu.presence.io/ and it allows student organizations and university departments to host their own account where they can manage organizational, programmatic, event-planning and marketing functions. This means immediate engagement and communication between departments and with all students!
What Does Carroll Connect Do?
Knowing that student engagement and feelings of community are high indicators of retention and persistence, Carroll Connect provides an easy to use, on-line platform to propel involvement by:

-Engaging More Students, Staff & Faculty
-Tracking Participation with Built-in Assessments and Analytics
-Assessing Behaviors & Trends
-Encouraging & Measuring Learning
Starting is Simple!
The Carroll Connect Team already transitioned recognized student organizations to Carroll Connect this past spring and now we are ready to welcome university departments or any other student groups to create an account. There is no additional log-in, nor are you required to create a personal profile to access services. All you have to do is complete an Organization Registration Form

Our amazing Presence support team is also available for departmental training sessions as well as quick, drop-in sessions.
