OIPu Freedom of Expression: Giving Voice to Victims of Wrongful Conviction
Join OIPu on International Wrongful Conviction Day by attending an hour live stream broadcast by the Innocence Network, Friday, October 2nd from 6-7 pm. The live stream will feature Jennifer Thompson founder of Healing Justice and author of “Picking Cotton”. Healing Justice strives at recognizing that both the accused and the survivor are harmed by wrongful convictions. The live stream will discuss the photography exhibit Freedom of Expression and the artwork made by crime victims, the exonerated, and their families.
