ITS Service Desk – Service Delays
Over the last couple of months, most of the John Carroll community shifted to remote working, teaching, and learning in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The first week of September marked a major milestone, with faculty and students returning for the Fall Semester to join virtual classrooms, shifted to remote work and many still have questions on setting up their home offices, launching video meetings, or moving their courses all online. In the week leading up to the first day of class through the second week of classes, the Service Desk opened 1,028 tickets. We have been working very hard to get through and address all of these, but it is taking longer than we would like.
The Service Desk wanted to thank you for your continued patience and support over the past few months. Please know that we have your request and are working to address them as quickly as possible. We are also on campus located in the Administration Building Room 37 (AD37) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
