Open Positions in the Center for Service and Social Action
The Center for Service and Social Action is accepting applications for three exciting positions! Federal Work Study eligibility is required, and students must be located in Ohio this spring to be eligible. All positions can be found on Handshake, and you can email Heather at CSSA (hcraigie@jcu.edu) with any questions.
1. Student Liaisons – Liaisons lead groups of service-learning students in weekly, virtual community engagement activities with community partners. The position includes paid leadership trainings.
2. Community Technology Ambassadors – Ambassadors collaborate with PCs for People, a Cleveland non-profit dedicated to providing technology access to lessen the digital divide. Provide support via phone or email to community members looking to access or maintain technological resources.
3. Carroll Reads Tutors – Carroll Reads Tutors provide early literacy support to students in community partner elementary schools.
