Recreational Open Swim | Reservations Required

Beginning Monday, January 25, recreational open swim will resume in the Johnson Natatorium. Online reservations are required, each time slot is 50 minutes, and space is limited to one swimmer per lane. RESERVATION SYSTEM – REQUIRED DURING SPRING 2021
This semester, all JCU Recreation facilities will require an individual reservation to gain access. No reservation = No access. To sign-up and learn more about our reservation procedures, please visit this link: https://signup.com/go/gvVcsgG

OPEN SWIM HOURS:
– Monday-Friday: 10:45 AM-12:45 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM
– Saturday-Sunday: 12:00-4:00 PM
– Reservation times may very depending on Swim & Dive practice/meets

FACILITY ACCESS:
During the Spring 2021 semester, only current JCU students, faculty/staff, and retirees with an active Carroll Card may use recreation facilities. Alumni, faculty/staff spouses and dependents, Courtesy Card holders, community members, and guests are not permitted.

LOCKER ROOMS & SHOWERS:
The locker rooms on the pool deck are available for restroom use and a changing space only. Lockers and showers are not available at this time.

FACE COVERINGS:
In compliance with university guidelines and recommendations from the American Council on Exercise (ACE), face coverings are required at all times unless in the pool swimming. This includes while on the pool deck and moving about the facility.

WHAT TO BRING:
– Face covering
– Carroll Card
– #CampusClear app (in-person options available for those without a smartphone)
– Water bottle (only bottle fillers are available)
– Towel
