University Offices Closed for Full Day on Thursday, 4/1
Our University holiday calendar provides a time off on the afternoon of Holy Thursday and the full day Good Friday, celebrated this calendar year on April 1 and 2, respectively.
In recognition and appreciation for the good work and keen focus on supporting the student experience by our employees, University offices will be closed for the full day on Thursday, April 1. We hope this additional time off will provide extra time for activities that bring you joy.
It is recognized that, due to the short notice and the fact that residence halls are open and athletics will continue on Thursday, some university operations may need to remain open on Thursday morning. Supervisors should work within their area to ensure coverage for essential services, and to ensure that staff who work Thursday morning receive the paid time on another day of the following pay period. In addition, part-time staff will be paid for all hours they were previously scheduled to work for Thursday morning.
