Today: April DEI Community Book Read: “Being Heumann”
The April selection for the DEI community book group read is Judith Heumann’s new memoir, “Being Heumann: An Unrepentant Memoir of a Disability Rights Activist.”
Open to all students, faculty and staff. Each participant will receive a copy of the ebook after registration.
Book group meetings meet via Zoom on Fridays at 12:00 noon on the following dates: April 16, April 23, and April 30. (Please do not register if you are unable to attend at least two of the three scheduled meetings.)
Book group meetings are casual lunch-hour gatherings; participants are encouraged to bring their lunch and eat during the meeting.
