Saxbys, a Certified B Corporation and coffee company headquartered in Philadelphia, is thrilled to announce its partnership with John Carroll to introduce an exclusively student-run cafe to campus in fall 2021.
Saxbys will bring an entrepreneurial proving ground to campus to partner directly with JCU’s Provost’s office and employ an undergraduate student each semester as a Student Cafe Executive Officer (SCEO). The SCEO will exclusively run and manage all aspects of their cafe including team development, community outreach initiatives, and cafe financial reports. Each SCEO will earn competitive wages, bonus opportunities and a full semester of college credit throughout their tenure, gathering invaluable experience along the way. The cafes will be staffed entirely by JCU students.
