This campus opportunity combines commemoration with reflection by incorporating an Ignatian examen, based upon “Eyes to See,” AJCU’s new Anti-Racism Examen. In Ignatian spirituality, the examen is a regular practice of self-examination designed to help the individual move towards recognizing God and goodness in the midst of all things. In our Afternoon of Reflection, we will utilize the examen framework as a community, to explore our own work of becoming an anti-racist institution grounded in justice, equity, and human dignity.
This program qualifies for a half-day of Mission Leave after consultation with your supervisor.
