State of Ohio Tax Alert

This tax alert is to inform all employees that the Ohio Department of Taxation has issued new withholding tables to be used for payrolls that end on or after September 1, 2021. The new tables take into consideration the income tax rate reductions that went into effect when House Bill 110 (134th General Assembly) was signed into law on July 1, 2021. The tables reflect a 3.0% reduction in the withholding rates previously in effect since January 1, 2020. The new tables are to be used on or after September 1, 2021 and in future years.
