Virtual Jesuit Humanitarian Action and Climate Change Conference

On September 30th and October 1st and 2nd JCU will be co-sponsoring a virtual conference on Humanitarian Action and Climate Change. Thursday and Friday nights will offer a variety of keynote speakers and panels while Saturday will offer the opportunity for a JCU breakout session to explore how the university can best meet the goals of environmental sustainability. The two night sessions will run from 5 to 8 PM and the Saturday session will run from 9 AM to 1 PM. AD 258 has been reserved for all sessions.
While all are encouraged to join in community for all three days, we realize many will want to join virtually from another location. This will be possible. However, we strongly encourage all participants to join together for the Saturday morning session as individuals will break into groups to work together to establish sustainability goals for John Carroll.
The conference is brought to us by the Jesuit Universities Humanitarian Action Network (JUHAN). Since JCU is a co-sponsor, all JCU personnel – students, faculty and staff – are eligible to attend for free.
Included immediately below is the link to the conference website. This website has the registration link. Once registered individuals will have access to all of the virtual sessions.
