Today: OIPu’s FIRST EVER DNA DASH! 5K to raise money for DNA Testing

Get excited for OIPu’s FIRST EVER DNA Dash! We’re taking steps to end wrongful convictions by raising money for DNA test kits. The results from these are vital to freeing wrongfully convicted people, but the average cost for one is about $1,000! Proceeds will go to the Ohio Innocence Project (state-level), which is the organization that uses the kits to advocate for their clients in court.

Here’s how it works:

2) Track your time with the (free!) app
3) Run or walk 3.1 miles to end wrongful convictions! You can pick any time or place you’d like, and you have the entire month of November to complete it!
