World-Wide Teach-In on Climate Change and Sustainability
JCU will be participating in a World-Wide Teach-In on Climate Change and Sustainability on Wednesday March 30th from 8 to 10 PM. The event will be held in the atrium of the Dolan Science Center. It will feature three concurrent interactive panel discussions featuring faculty, staff, and students. The panel discussions will be followed by small breakout sessions where participants will discuss and brainstorm how to increase sustainability in their own lives as well as on campus and the larger community.
JCU will be one of approximately 1,000 colleges, high schools, and parishes meeting that day to discuss climate change and how it can be addressed. We have the time and the tools to create a more sustainable world. But it can only happen with your help. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
