The Death Penalty in Ohio Talk: Death Row Exoneree, Joe D’Ambrosio!
Join us to hear from Joe D’Ambrosio and Fr. Kookoothe about the death penalty and the injustices surrounded by it. D’Ambrosio is only one out of eleven exonerated death row prisoners in Ohio; he was wrongfully convicted for a crime that he did not commit. The following departments are also co-sponsoring this event: Dept. of Political Science, Dept. of PJHR (Peace, Justice, & Human Rights), and the student organization JCU OIPu. This event will be take place on Tuesday, April 5th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm in the Admin building in Rm 258. It is free and welcomes all that are interested!
