Learn about Becoming a JCU Sports Chaplain
If you’d like to learn about supporting our student-athletes as part of the Rick Chelko ’80 pilot program for sports chaplaincy at JCU, please come to an informational meeting on Thursday, May 5 from 3:30-4:30 pm in the Schell Conference Room in Campus Ministry. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to accompany students by being present to them and helping them discover the intersection of sports, spirituality, and character development in light of our mission. We can train you and support you for the rest, including a modest stipend. Interested but can’t make the meeting– please contact John Scarano at jscarano@jcu.edu.
