Lecture and Luncheon for the Ignatian Year

In honor of the end of the Ignatian Year, celebrated on the Feast of St. Ignatius (July 31, 2022), the Office of University Mission and Identity invites you to an ecological justice lecture on Thursday, July 28 from 10:30 am – 12 pm in the O’Dea Room in the Lombardo Student Center. A luncheon will follow, and a Zoom option is available for those who cannot attend in person.

Our speaker will be Fr. Xavier Jeyaraj, S.J., the Secretary of the Social Justice and Ecological Secretariat of the Society of Jesus. His talk is entitled, Mining, Indigenous Peoples, and the Environment in Light of the Universal Apostolic Preferences.
