Interested in serving and giving back to others? Well, we have an opportunity just for you! The John Carroll University AmeriCorps Corps for Rural and Urban Success in Health (CRUSH) program is looking to hire both part time and full time service roles for the upcoming year (August 2022-July 2023). Full time member receive an annual stipend of $16,000 along with an education award of $6,325. Part time members receive an annual stipend of $8,471 dollars and an education award of $3,162.50. All members will be certified as Community Health Workers through the Ohio Board of Nursing as a part of their service training. Our many trainings include: Mental Health, First Aid, CPR, Bias and Diversity training, and so much more. If you are looking for a year of professional growth, this might be the position for you! Placements include schools, hospitals, health centers, mental health agencies and other local nonprofits locally and statewide.
