Today: Join HSA and CSDI for a book read! ‘Life Isn’t Binary’

The Honors Student Association and the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion welcome students, faculty, and staff to join a book club in which we will be reading books exploring the concepts of gender and sexuality with regard to different cultural experiences. We will read one book per semester and meet on a bi-weekly schedule. Meetings will take place on Thursdays at 4:00 P.M. in the CSDI lounge. A Zoom option will also be available for meetings. Books will be provided for you.

The book for the fall 2022 semester will be Life Isn’t Binary by Alex Iantaffi and Meg-John Barker. You can learn more about the book and authors here:

If you are interested in joining the book club, the book can be ordered using the Google form below. We would like to have all book orders placed by September 5, 2022.

The books will be ordered from Elizabeth’s Bookshop & Writing Centre, a local book shop in Akron, Ohio. A percentage of all of their sales will go to The Loveland Foundation, Inc. Therapy Fund for Black women, girls, and gender-expansive people.
