1,100 Flag Display for Suicide Awareness Month

September is Suicide Awareness month and today on the quad you will see 1,100 flags displayed on the quad to recognize the 1,100 students who die by suicide each year. This month we will have many programs to help support mental health and build awareness. Below are a couple we want to highlight.

QPR is an hour long training to help you support someone with suicidal ideation. Trainings will be: Monday, Sept. 26, 5-6 pm and Thursday, Sept. 29, 1-2pm in the CC Conference Room. Sign up below

Mental Health First Aid is a longer training touching on suicide, overdose, panic attacks, and other mental health crises that you could face. This training will be October 8th with a sign up below.
