Guardians Name Change & In Whose Honor
Join us on November 2nd at 4pm for a screening of “In Whose Honor? American Indian Mascots in Sports”. After the documentary screening we will hear from Matthew J. Grimes, Head of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion for Cleveland Guardians Baseball. Matthew’s talk is titled, Navigating the Change-up: Learnings & Outcomes in Changing Our Team Name.
This event is open to the entire JCU community, as well as outside community members that may like to attend. Free food will be provided.
