Work In Progress Initiative Tabling

The goal of the Work In Progress campaign is to shed light on the fact that we all face challenges from time to time, and that we are not alone. By sharing our stories, we help to erase the stigma surrounding challenges of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health while creating a campus community of support and understanding.

This Tuesday, November 8th Peer Health Advocates will be hosting a tabling event in the Student Atrium from 3:30-5:30pm to raise awareness to the campaign and help reduce the stigma of mental health on our campus.

Individuals who would like to participate will be asked to submit a photo and fill out a brief survey (name, major (if applicable), position on campus (staff and faculty), a challenge they are currently facing, and what they are doing to manage that challenge). This information will be displayed on posters around campus, and we will be highlighting the campaign online through social media and our webpage. While we are always accepting forms for this year-long campaign, we encourage people to submit a form by Tuesday, November 23rd to be featured this semester. A link to the survey is posted below.
