Do you enjoy playing basketball? Don’t miss the chance to learn about one of JCU’s meaningful community engagement programs, the Carroll Ballers! Carroll Ballers play basketball, share pizza, and connect with youth at the Juvenile Detention Center weekly beginning in early February.
Attend the information session on Thursday, January 19 anytime from 6:00-7:30 pm in the IM Gym (east side) to learn more about the Carroll Ballers program and participate in our three-point, free-throw, and half-court contests.
Prizes will be offered and Carroll Ballers shirts will be available for purchase. This semester, Carroll Ballers is restricted to male participants, but there are other opportunities to serve at the JDC for all students. Email service@jcu.edu to learn more about Carroll Ballers and other opportunities at the Juvenile Detention Center.
