Voices of Inclusion Lunch & Learn
Join the DEIB Office and Student Government for a Voices of Inclusion Lunch & Learn on March 14th at 12pm in the O’Connell Reading Room for a seminar by Marina Giannirakis, who currently serves as an Advocate for Gender-Based Violence at Case Western Reserve University. Marina’s seminar is titled: “Survivor Advocacy in Action”. This presentation will discuss the culture of violence on many college campuses and what advocates are doing to support and respond to survivors. Specifically, Marina will discuss her advocacy philosophy and the importance of having advocates connected to survivors during and after a traumatic event. Lunch will be provided.
