Annual reminder from Grasselli
During the summer, librarians will be weeding (assessing, pulling, and recycling) portions of many subject areas. This is an annual summer project and this is a professional skill set that librarians are trained to do in every subject area – decisions are data-driven and not arbitrary. This year in particular, we are unable to slow our pace by notifying any faculty when we get to certain subject areas or putting books aside. We are on a very strict timeline due to construction beginning in August.
