Library service changes and closures

The Library has some pretty big news that we’ve been meaning to share! Effective immediately the first floor/lower level of the library is closed for construction for the remainder of the school year. We know that it’ll be annoying that you can’t get to The Den for coffee and a snack (we’re sad about that too). And the University Archives will be closed during construction too – no more access to the awesome Papal Coin collection, yearbooks going back decades, or even the history of campus renovations. But, after a lot of moving and rearranging last week, we’ve managed to get almost everything back into place.
The Learning Commons will be on the 2nd floor of the library, near the computers right when you walk in (the study tables start week 3, we’ll send another reminder). We’re planning to have a smaller version of the Interfaith Prayer Room available and the Graduate Lounge has moved to the 3rd floor. Many of the librarians and library staff have moved offices too, but if you need help finding anything, please always feel welcome to stop by the Library’s Help Desk with your questions!
