The Human Resources Department would like to call your attention to a great resource at no charge. Our Employee Assistant Program, Impact Solutions, offers six live webinars on a quarterly basis.
The first of two live webinars in September is called “Cultural Myths in Media: Factor or Fiction”. In this session, participants will learn how the media constructs our culture, and the impact it has on our society. The media uses images and resources to engineer these myths and produce emotional reactions in the people who see them. In today’s ever-changing world of blogs and online media, participants will be provided the resources to be a critical viewer in order to differentiate what is true and what is fallacy.
