1,100 Flag Display and Pledge for Suicide Awareness Month
September is Suicide Awareness month and today on the quad you will see 1,100 flags displayed on the quad to recognize the 1,100 students who die by suicide each year. This month we will have many programs to help support mental health and build awareness. Below are a couple we want to highlight.
Pledge for Suicide Prevention: Today, there is a tabling in the LSC Atrium from 11:00am-1:00pm for the opportunity to sign a Suicide Awareness Pledge. Please stop by and take the pledge!
QPR is an hour long training to help you support someone with suicidal ideation. Trainings will be: September 12th and 13th from 4:00-5:30 in the CC Conference Room. Pizza and snacks will be provided. Sign up below:
