NEOCH Immersion: Faculty/Staff Needed
The immersion is from October 12 (around 5pm) until October 15 (around 2pm). I have attached a sample itinerary. We will meet as a group 3 times before the immersion on Thursday nights at 9pm (Sept. 21, Sept. 28, and Oct. 5). These meetings will explore important educational background information, discussions on justice and service, reflections on our identity and what this experience means, and community bonding time. You are not required to be at all of these meetings, but it would be helpful for you to join in at least one (or 2 or all 3) in order to get to know the students and learn a bit more yourself.
Please take some time to consider whether or not you would like to be a faculty/staff liaison for this Fall Break immersion.
