Today: Grasselli Library Renovation Project: Pardon the noise (and potential dust)
On Monday, October 2, the construction team will begin heavy demolition on the first floor of the Grasselli Library and Breen Learning Center. Noise levels will be high during this phase of the project. Demolition will continue throughout the month of October. The construction team is scheduled to work from 6:00am to 3:30pm daily, Monday through Friday. The library’s Help Desk will be providing ear plugs. Just ask!
If you are seeking a quieter space to study during the month of October, here are some suggested locations from members of the JCU faculty:
CMLC Center for Global Languages and Cultures – OC101
CMLC Faculty Library – OC139
Education Department Lounge – SIH 301
In addition to these rooms, there are lots of tables in the atriums of O’Malley Center and Dolan Science Center.
Mark your calendars: The Grasselli Library and Breen Learning Center will be closed on Friday, October 13.
