A House in the Homeland: Armenian Pilgrimages to Places of Ancestral Memory

What happens after genocide?
On Thursday, October 12th at 7pm in Rodman Hall Meeting Room A, please join us for “A House in the Homeland: Armenian Pilgrimages to Places of Ancestral Memory,” a talk by Dr. Carel Bertram.

Dr. Carel Bertram will discuss her travels with Armenians from the diaspora who travelled to villages and towns all over today’s Turkey in search of their homes and homeland lost in the Armenian genocide of 1915.

The talk is sponsored by the Peace, Justice, and Human Rights program and the Armenian General Benevolent Union (Cleveland Chapter), with co-sponsorship by the Department of History.
