IC 1505: INTRODUCTION TO INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCE
(MWF 10am, Instructor: Julia Karolle-Berg)
Intercultural competence is the ability to see the world from the perspective of another culture and to interact with empathy, understanding, and respect. IC 1505 introduces you to this multidisciplinary field through an exploration of theory, case studies, experiential learning, and your own cultural identity.
IC 1505 may be petitioned to count for HUM credit; applied toward the minor in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB); the major in Spanish and Hispanic Studies; and the minors in French and Francophone Studies, and in German Studies.
