Please RSVP TODAY(!) for JCU Honduras Medical Immersion fundraiser

For those planning to attend the fundraiser for the JCU Honduras Medical Immersion group at Edwin’s Too on Shaker Square on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, 6-9 pm we kindly ask you to purchase your tickets today Tuesday, Feb. 13, as we have to submit an estimated headcount to the restaurant tomorrow, Feb. 14. Tickets are $50 per person in advance, and can be purchased here, https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/7f08a21c-19b0-47c6-8465-63ea106e37e9. Tickets will be available to purchase after today at that link and will also be available at the door for $60, but we cannot guarantee availability. There will be a cash bar, a Latin American themed buffet, and a raffle and silent auction for various prizes.
If you are unable to attend, you can still support us financially by making a direct donation through the link above. We are also accepting donations through Venmo and as checks—please email Jim Lissemore, jlissemore@jcu.edu, for the address for Venmo or checks.
Each year a group of JCU students, alumni, and faculty (along with health professionals) serve >1000 people in rural Honduras where there is extremely limited access to health care. Your support, whether it is purchasing a ticket or making a donation, will be used to purchase medical supplies and medications for the one-day medical clinics that we will set up in different communities during the immersion.
