Women’s Dialogue Fellowship

The DEIB Office is inviting women and femme identifying students to participate in an eight session Women’s Dialogue Fellowship.

Each of the eight (8) sessions will be held on a Monday from 3:30-5pm beginning Monday, January 27.

Following session will occur on:
– Monday, Feb. 10
– Monday, Feb. 24
– Monday, March 10
– Monday, March 24
– Monday, March 31
– Monday, April 14
– Monday, Apr. 28

The goals of the Fellowship include the following:
Fostering enduring solidarity and belonging for all genders at JCU, with a focus on empowering women-identifying and femme students;
Facilitating meaningful dialogue between people from diverse backgrounds in order to build relationships and understanding;
Creating positive change in your campus community through gender equity-related initiatives;
Improving skills and confidence in self-expression, advocacy, and dialogue across difference;
Building and developing leadership skills in both personal and professional capacities; and
Deepening understanding and embodiment of the Jesuit mission and values.

Participants in this Fellowship will receive a certificate of completion that can be used on your resume. Participants in this Fellowship can also choose to become Certified Sustained Dialogue Facilitators for future sessions. Finally, participants in this Fellowship may receive extra credit in approved Gender, Sexuality, Women’s Studies courses.

Participants in the Fellowship must attend 7 out of 8 sessions to receive full credit.
