Applied Ethics Projects Proposal Deadline: May 1

The proposal deadline for Applied Ethics fall 2017 projects is Monday, May 1. As in past years, both faculty and student projects are eligible for Applied Ethics grants. Collaborative projects and multi-disciplinary/ interdisciplinary projects are encouraged. Individual projects are not the main focus of Applied Ethics grants.

Beaudry Award Winner Announced

The Class of 2017 has selected Adrianna Gradisek as the 2017 winner of the Beaudry Award–the only student award given at Commencement. Adrianna was selected for her excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, commitment to Christian values, and service to the University and community.

The U.S.-Mexico Border Immersion, LASA, and Catholic Relief Services student groups have joined together to educate our community on the pressing humanitarian issues and dangers that immigrants face while crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. Each of the 322 crosses on the Quad represents one person who has died crossing the border in the past year. Join in to learn more in this series called “People Over Politics” —

Today: Alpha Sigma Nu Food Drive

Please support the Alpha Sigma Nu Food Drive for the Fatima Family Center, April 17 – 28. Collection boxes will be located in: Grasselli Library, Campus Ministry, CSSA/Einsteins, Office of Student Engagement, and Catholic Studies.

Please donate non-perishable food items for those who need help. This is a great way to start getting rid of extra food before the end of the semester, or bring in food from home after Easter Break.
