Attention all Blue Streaks basketball fans: Our women’s basketball team opens the 2013-14 OAC season Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m. vs. the Purple Raiders of Mount Union. Admission is free to all JCU students! All FSA’s and their families are welcome to attend regular season home games for free as well.

There will be no weekday Masses on Tuesday, Nov. 26, through Sunday, Dec. 1. Weekday Masses resume on Monday, Dec. 2. On Sunday, Dec. 1, there will be a 10 p.m. Mass but no 6 p.m. Mass.

WJCU, in conjunction with The Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland is proud to once again present Blizzard Bash, a charity concert designed to help fight hunger! Blizzard Bash 2013 will be hosted by the Happy Dog in Cleveland, and will take place Friday, Nov. 22. Doors open at 9 p.m., and the show begins at 9:30 p.m.

Today: Dinner and Conversation at 2100 Lakeside

The Management 550 class here at JCU will be attempting to break a Guinness World Record and we need your help to do so! The record attempt will be Most People Folding T Shirts. We need 300 people in order to break the record. T-shirts for the attempt will be supplied. The event will take place on Friday, Nov. 22, in LSC Conference Room at 6 p.m.

John Carroll will host its first NCAA DIII football playoff game this Saturday when the Blue Streaks take on St. John Fisher at noon at Don Shula Stadium. To show our support, all students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends are encouraged to wear JCU spirit wear on Friday, Nov. 22.
