1,000 Days Flint Fundraiser sponsored by Black Students in Action

Black Students in Action (BSA) has dedicated its mission, as a recognized cultural student organization, to serve the communities surrounding the University. For those unaware, Flint, Michigan, is an impoverished city that has been without clean water for over 1,000 days. The BSA is seeking donations of water, diapers, money, and other items to lend a helping hand in Flint’s time of need.

JCU RecPlex Limited Hours Due to Class of 2021 Celebration

The IM Gym will be closed all day Friday, March 24, and Saturday, March 25, until 6 p.m. for the Class of 2021 Celebration.

Racquetball Court #2 will also be closed Friday, March 24, and Saturday, March 25, for Class of 2021 Celebration needs.

AMA will welcome our first speaker on Thursday, March 23, at 7 p.m., in Bruening Hall, Room 19. Julie Mamula will talk about her role as project manager at Sanctuary, a digital marketing group.

Join us for this eye-opening exhibit “Another Italy, Other Realities,” where Karla Guajardo Ro photographically captures the stories of a group called “Expatriados Mexicanos” or “Mexican Expatriates,” who have decided to relocate permanently in Italy seeking a better life.
