Continue reading this storyLate on November 22, a federal judge issued a preliminary injunction halting the December 1st implementation of the proposed Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) “Overtime Rule.” As a result of this injunction, the current FLSA rules remain in place, and the University’s plans to comply with the proposed “Overtime Rule” have been put on hold. As of late yesterday, all employees that would have been affected by the new rule have been individually notified of this “on hold” status.
