Lynn Walsh, a Facebook trainer, will show students how to use the Facebook platform in a professional and journalistic manner on Wednesday, September 19, at 6:30 p.m. in the Jardine Room.

Blood Rising: Painting the Lost Women of Juarez

On September 27th at 5 p.m. in Rodman, Hall Brian Maguire, the Irish artist whose portraits of the murdered women of Juarez, Mexico, will come for a showing of “Blood Rising,” an intimate documentary of his attempt to raise awareness about the disappeared women of Juarez. After a 30-minute screening, Maguire will be available for a talkback about the documentary, his work, and the relationship between art and politics.
