World Union of Jesuit Alumni Global Congress Coming to JCU

Did you know that Rev. Pedro Arrupe, S.J., first spoke of becoming “men [and women]” for others at the 1973 World Union of Jesuit Alumni (WUJA) gathering in Spain? Did you also know that John Carroll University will host the 2017 WUJA Global Congress from June 28-July 2, the first time the event will be held in North America?

Have you thought about a certain major or career path? What’s informed your thinking so far? Come to the Den in the Library on Tuesday, February 28, from 3-4:30 p.m. to learn more about undecided major exploration.

Today: Last Chance to Attend an Immersion Information Session

Students interested in applying for January 2018 Immersions to Nicaragua, Jamaica, or El Salvador that have not previously participated in a JCU immersion experience have one more chance to attend a required information session Tuesday, February 28, at 5 p.m. in the LSC, Jardine Room.

The Student Union committee on diversity and inclusion invites you to come and join us for themed discussions on Tuesday, 2-4 p.m. in the Idlewood Room, and Wednesday, 5-7 p.m. in the CSDI office – above the bookstore.

All students, faculty and staff are welcome to volunteer to be an Ability Ally at the Allies for Inclusion: Ability Exhibit. Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, training, outreach, marketing, and photography.

Today: Study in Mexico City Summer 2017

John Carroll students can study in Mexico City, Mexico, for six weeks this summer, May 25-July 8 and earn 6 credits. Please come to an information session on Tuesday, February 28, at 5 p.m., in AD258.
