January is Stalking Awareness Month!

In honor of Stalking Awareness Month the Violence Prevention and Action Center (VPAC) will be hosting a series of tabling events on this topic. There will be information about stalking, tips on how to remain safe and a Stalking Awareness Quiz. Those who answer all the questions correctly on the quiz will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win one of several gift cards. We will be in front of Einstein’s bagels today from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

This in-depth training for LockDown Browser will focus on advanced settings and features – such as how to use external websites, ebooks, spreadsheets and online calculators with LockDown Browser. The session will also include how students can use LockDown Browser on different devices, such as an iPad, and best practices for instructors and students. There will be a Q&A period at the end. Join us for Labre this Friday!

Every Friday, we meet in the Green Road Annex at 2 p.m. to prepare food for the evening. We cook a meal for around 80 people which will be distributed throughout the course of the night. After the preparation of the food, we have a reflection at the Rodman Chapel at 5 p.m., to prepare our minds and souls for the night. If you are unable to help cook, they are invited to join the Labre Project at 5 p.m. to begin their evening. We return to campus around 10 p.m. and have a remembrance of those we met that night.

The Student Organization Budget Board meets several times a semester on Mondays at 5 p.m. We review proposals from student organizations to allocate funds or to review petitions for new student organizations.
