Submit to the Celebration of Scholarship Art Exhibit

There’s still time to submit art work to the Celebration of Scholarship Art Exhibit! Up to three works may be submitted. Submit one application for each work. We will accept all forms of visual media, watercolor, photo, oil, acrylic, pencil, etc., for this juried show.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, all women, womyn, and trans-people of John Carroll University are invited to discuss their experiences and the changes they want on campus and in the broader community. Tea will be provided, and feel free to stay however long you can!

Become a certified Copyright Clarity trainer by participating in this one-day workshop at JCU on March 20, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Learn how foundational concepts of copyright and fair use can help you learn how to use copyrighted material for digital learning. Increase your confidence in understanding how copyright and fair use support digital literacy in higher education. This event is co-sponsored by the Tim Russert Department of Communication and Theatre Arts.

The Office of Student Accessibility Services (formerly, Services for Students with Disabilities) invites you to attend the Allies for Inclusion: Ability Exhibit on March 20-22 in the Dolan Center for Science and Technology, O’Connell Reading Room.
Also, a workshop on Disability Awareness, Inclusion, and Universal Design will be offered on March 20 from 1-2:30 in the Donahue Auditorium.

One of the advantages of being part of the JCU family is that our staff members have access to some innovative group benefits that are not available on an individual basis. We are pleased to partner with Combined Worksite Solutions (CWS) to offer two new voluntary benefits and have added March 20 to the sign-up schedule.

Dinner with Art of Culture Shock Speaker Robert Roche

Robert Roche, member of the American Indian Movement and Native American activist from the American Indian Education Center of Cleveland, will present a public lecture at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 27, in the Dolan Center for Science and Technology, Donahue Auditorium. At 5 p.m., Mr. Roche will be the guest of honor at a special dinner – on campus – for interested JCU students, faculty, and staff. Seats are limited.

New look for Grasselli ILL coming soon!

On March 27, Grasselli Library will introduce a new Interlibrary Loan Service (ILL) designed to improve the ILL experience for the JCU community.

The new Grasselli ILL keeps all of the tools you need and adds a cleaner and easier-to-use website. The new Grasselli ILL is also easier to access. Use the same login and password you use for Canvas or the computer labs.
