Today: Human Trafficking Awareness

John Carroll will be hosting Melinda Sykes, director of children’s initiatives in the office of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and chair of the Ohio Human Trafficking Commission, on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Jardine Room of the Lombardo Student Center. Sykes will be speaking to students and the community about the Attorney General office’s efforts to understand the extent of the human trafficking problem in Ohio.

On Friday morning, Jan. 4, the Maintenance Department will shut off all hot water to the sinks and showers in the RecPlex from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. The cold water will remain operational.

Today: RecPlex power shutdown – Jan. 3, 2013

Power will be shutdown to all areas of the RecPlex and Student Activity Center at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, for the replacement of an electrical transformer as part of the Facilities Preventive Maintenance program. This power outage will only affect the Student Activity Center and Recreation Center. It will include all offices in these buildings as well as the DeCarlo and Intramural Gyms, Schott Dining Hall, and the Natatorium. All other campus buildings will have power and will not be affected.
