Night at the Races

Join SUPB in a Night at the Races on Saturday, May 1st from 7-9pm. This will be located in the LSC Conference room and food will be in the O’Dea/Murphy Commons! Come take risks and place bets on your favorite horses in the races! Using play money, put your earnings into raffles for a chance to win prizes! Enjoy some snacks and mint julep mocktails as well! Arbor Day tree planting

Come out and help support our sustainability efforts on campus as we plant a few trees on April 30th – Arbor Day. We will be honoring Carol Dietz for her many years of work promoting sustainability across JCU with a special planting at 10 am in front of Murphy Hall. Volunteers are encouraged to participate in digging the holes, documenting the event, and making our gathering festive.

The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the leading walk in the country supporting inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (also known as IDD). Funds raised at the Friendship Walks help move our mission forward by funding local Best Buddies programs. It also provides a unique opportunity to see our mission in action at the local level. Every dollar raised goes towards making the world a more inclusive, accepting place.
