JCU FIT Presents: Soundbath

Sound Therapy has been a healing modality for roughly 40,000 years. It was used with Aboriginal tribes in Australia, ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Tibetan Monks and is still widely used today through the use of chanting, singing, bowls, chimes, drums, gongs, etc.
The use of sound as a healing modality is said to improve blood pressure, boost the immune system, and is calming to the nervous system.
Join Kaley for an hour of sound immersion to experience deep rest, relaxation and explore self- inquiry. Sound baths are meant to provide both mental and physical rest. Rather than repeating a mantra, you will lie back and allow various sounds help you relax and reach different states of awareness.
Please bring a yoga mat or beach towel. Due to the nature of this seminar, it will start promptly at 12:05 to allow full relaxation for those in attendance.
