Racial Equity 21-Day Challenge and lunchtime discussions

This month, many JCU students, faculty, and staff will be participating in the Racial Equity 21-Day Challenge sponsored by the YWCA of Greater Cleveland.

Participants are prompted daily with challenges such as reading an article, listening to a podcast, reflecting on personal experience and more.

All students, faculty and staff are welcome and encouraged to participate! Click here to register to receive daily challenge emails through March 22, 2020: https://www.ywcaofcleveland.org/21-day-race-equity-challenge-sign-up/

All participants in the Racial Equity 21-Day Challenge are encouraged to join our lunch table during the month of March to discuss what they are learning in the Challenge. Every Friday in March after Spring Break (3/13, 3/20, 3/27), members of the university DEI committee will host a lunch-table discussion in Schott Dining Hall from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.

Grab your lunch (cost is $5 for those not utilizing a JCU meal plan) and join the table for discussion of that week’s email reflections. Open to all students, faculty and staff. (Please do not allow cost to be a barrier to your participation; contact diversity@jcu.edu if financial support is needed.)
