Temporary Closure of Rodman Hall Main Entrance

The main entrance to Rodman Hall (off the Quad) will be closed starting Saturday, Aug. 2, for approximately two weeks for the replacement of the sidewalk and sandstone walks. Please use alternate entrances/exits until the work is completed.

Attention JCU Employees: Change in Ohio Income Tax Withholding

Effective July 1, JCU employees will notice a slight change in their net pay beginning July 1 as a result of reduced Ohio income tax withholding rates. The new rates take into consideration the income tax reductions that went into effect when House Bill 483 was recently signed into law.

Volunteer Opportunity: Saint Agnes/Our Lady of Fatima Church Event

Are you on or near campus for the summer and looking to continue a commitment to service? Saint Agnes/Our Lady of Fatima Parish is connected to Fatima Family Center, a multi-purpose neighborhood center serving the Hough area. Fatima Family Center is a community partner with which John Carroll has a strong relationship and which students, staff, and faculty have supported through annual events and weekly service for many years. Saint Agnes/Our Lady of Fatima will be having a church and neighborhood event on Sunday, July 27, and they need our help.

Today: Energy Reduction Day

Due to a forecast of high temperatures throughout both the East Coast and our area, PJM and FirstEnergy are expecting the demand for electricity to be high today. In order to be good citizens as well as help reduce the likelihood of brownouts, John Carroll has been asked to reduce our power usage from 2-8 p.m. today.
