We will commemorate Juneteenth here at JCU, as we started to do last year, with a community reflection opportunity on Friday, June 18th for all university employees to recognize the significance of this day and discuss how we will work as a community toward our goals of addressing racial injustice as a core part of our Jesuit Catholic mission. Today: Library Electrical Shutdown

The library will have its electrical service shut down starting June 14th until June 18th for waterproofing and structural repairs on the main entry and in the electrical vault. The emergency generator will run during this time to provide power for emergency lighting, life safety, and some IT equipment. The rest of the building will not have power for the week.

John Carroll University will honor Pete and his contributions to the University at a Memorial & Luncheon on Saturday, June 12, 2021 beginning at 11:30 a.m. The memorial and luncheon will take place at the JCU ROTC/Military Science House (4070 Carroll Blvd., University Heights, OH 44118).

Today: RecPlex Summer Open Swim (June 8-25)

The Johnson Natatorium is available from June 8-25 for summer open swim at the times listed in this post for all students, faculty/staff, retirees, and JCU Recreation members. The pool deck renovation will begin on June 28, and the pool will likely not reopen until sometime in August. More updates will be provided later this summer.
